Get all the infomation you need about your destination before you leaveTipping in Colombia is quite common. On most service establishments there's a voluntary 10%. On high end restaurants the fee rises up to 15%. Extra tipping must be in cash and always handed to the waiter directly. Most tour guides will expect a 5-10% tip. Tipping taxi drivers is not mandatory but appreciated.
