In the capital, TravelWifi will open a new 200 square meters space distributed over three floors, located at number 1 of the centrical Calle Postas, between Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, an unbeatable location.
In the store you’ll find a great variety of “high-end” travel and technological items, such as smartwatches, video and photo cameras, headphones, backpacks and luggage… etc. In addition to our protagonists, the portable Wifi, that will be available to rent or buy.

The streets and terraces of the Spanish capital are filled with people thanks to the good weather and the end of the Emergency State in Spain. Below you’ll find some great options to move around Madrid and discover this awesome city.
If the route you want to travel is not too long, moving by foot is surely the best option, it allows us to enjoy and discover everything that surrounds us and is also a great way to stay active. Madrid concentrates the majority of it’s points of interest quite close to each other.
If your circulation radius is somewhat more extensive, the bike can be your best ally. The ideal thing is to rent an electric bike, you can find them in many points of the city, it’s a cheap and easy to use option. It is also a clean alternative, since it does not pollute and allows you, like walking, to enjoy all the charms of the city in the foreground.
Another great option that is gaining many users is the electric scooters, the city puts them at your disposal in a great variety of points, and like the bike, it is an alternative that allows you to travel wider distances without giving up complete enjoyment of the landscapes and facades that surround you.
For longer distances the best option is to use the Metro or buses. Madrid’s metro network is one of the best in the world, allowing you to reach almost any corner of the city in a short time. Madrid also has an excellent network of urban buses that connects many parts of the city.
Carsharing has been accumulating more and more users, and its advantages are multiple. You can access any of the vehicles parked around Madrid through your own Smartphone. At the end of the route you can park it in the green or blue zone without having to pay for parking, you only pay for the minutes of use.
Another very similar option is motosharing, Madrid groups together a giant fleet of these two-wheeled vehicles that offer greater speed and agility to move around and park, in addition to the advantages offered by the ZERO sticker if we are going to drive through central Madrid.
Whichever option you choose, make the most of the possibilities offered by the Spanish capital, walk through its streets, soak up its history and enjoy its atmosphere.

Every year, by mi-may, Madrid brings out its most festive and welcoming side with the San Isidro festivities. The locals celebrate their patron, San Isidro Labrador, with festivity on May 15th.
To celebrate, the capital is filled with light, music and color. Dances, festivals, typical food, different attractions and shows take place all over the city.
San Isidro’s Pradera, La Plaza Mayor, Las Vistillas, Plaza de la Villa and Plaza de Oriente, El Retiro Park, Plaza Conde de Barajas or El Templo de Debod are just some of the multiple scenarios where San Isidro 2019 takes place.
Live music is one of the main events in this festivities, this year with more innovative and international proposals than ever.
Once again, La Pradera de San Isidro is filled with music, dances, flowers and happiness. From here, the festivities will end with a beautiful pyrotechnic show the night of May 15th.

A walk in the Retiro Park.

One of the most authentic neighborhoods in Madrid, this is where the famous Rastro takes place every Sunday morning. This market is reputed to be one of the largest and most curious in Europe.

To end a long day of sightseeing in the Spanish capital, what better than enjoying a quiet sunset in the Temple of Debod. This temple was brought stone by stone from Egypt as a gift to Spain. Once again, Wifivox will be attending FITUR, otherwise known as International Tourism exhibition, in Madrid! This year starts with the 37th edition of the event being celebrated from Wednesday 18th until Sunday 22nd of January.
The FITUR exhibition is a huge international 5 day trade event, during which a great amount of companies and their respective representatives will be promoting their products and services to the world. We are pleased to announce that we can now arrange deliveries to both Barcelona and Madrid airport directly for your convenience! Save time by picking your Wifivox right after your plane lands and stay connected at all times following the instructions provided below.
The pick-up point you must seek is located at the Left Luggage Desk (also called Consigna) which is managed by the Excess Baggage Company and is open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
In Barcelona airport, the Left Luggage Desk can be found at Terminal 1, while in Madrid airport, at Terminal 4. You can see its exact position in the following maps, indicated with a yellow icon.
Both can be easily located by following the signs for Left Luggage / Consigna around the airport, and they’re next to the Lost and Found office.
Please keep in mind that you’ll have to present some photo ID in order to claim the package sent in your name. The Wifivox reservation number isn’t valid for its collection.
You can also drop your Wifivox at the same location, by leaving it inside the envelope we provide you and handing it at the Left Luggage Desk. Quick and practical!
IMPORTANT: Also note that, for now, the booking must be previously managed online for you to collect your Wifivox at the airport. Soon, however, we’ll enable the possibility to book it at the airport itself. Stay tuned for more updates!
